How to change the Start menu position in the Windows 11 preliminary build

If you want the Start menu in your Windows 11-powered computer to sit in its usual place on the left, there are ways to arrange that.

Microsoft’s latest creation, Windows 11, is a new operating system that comes with numerous interface changes. These include the taskbar with the central arrangement of all elements, including the Start menu of the system. Microsoft decided it was the way to go, but some users would prefer the familiar left-aligned arrangement.

If you’ve already installed Windows 11 on your computer and want to return the Start menu to its usual position, you can find the corresponding option in the taskbar settings. With its help, you can make the menu aligned to the left again.

This article will demonstrate how to alter the position of the Start menu and applications on the taskbar.

  1. First of all, open the Settings app.
  2. Next, click on the Personalization section.
  3. Click the element named Taskbar Behaviors.
  4. Use the drop-down menu and select the left or central taskbar alignment.
